Tiran Island by yacht

Tiran Island is famous for its unique nature and rich underwater world. It is part of the Ras Mohamed Marine National Park, recognized as one of the most beautiful spots for snorkeling and diving. The area has many coral reefs that attract divers and snorkelers from all over the world.

In the past, Tiran Island was subject to territorial disputes between Egypt and Saudi Arabia. However, in 2017, Egypt and Saudi Arabia reached a compromise, and the island was transferred to Saudi Arabia.

You will also see the main coastline of Sharm El Sheikh and the wreck of the Cypriot cargo ship Lara, which sank on a reef in 1985.

Please note that landing on the island is not allowed, as it is part of another country’s territory.

 

Program:

 

• Transfer from the hotel around 08:00 (exact time provided after booking; travel to port 15–60 minutes depending on hotel location);

• At the port, you can rent masks, fins, vests (if needed, extra charge);

• Yacht departs from the central marina towards the island around 10:00 (depends on police permission)

• Yacht trip in open sea all day;

• Two stops for snorkeling and diving on the reefs, about 1 hour each (decided by the guide on site);

• Lunch on the yacht (buffet) + soft drinks throughout the day (tea, coffee, soda);

• Return to the port around 17:00;

• Transfer back to the hotel around 18:00 (depends on hotel location).

 

🤿 Diving cost: +$12 for one dive; +$24 for two dives — price valid only if booked in advance; on-site price is higher, around $25–$30 per dive. Duration per dive up to 15 minutes (including preparation) and depth up to 7 meters.

 

Children up to 5 years — Free.
